Kapada
The idea of Kapada, our first project, stemmed from a desire to provide good-quality clothes to deserving children & youth — an overlooked aspect amidst hundreds of initiatives addressing education, health, and food needs. Kapada means “cloth” in Hindi, and it represents our holistic approach to tackling social challenges, one small step at a time.

Objectives
Our Process
Kapada’s success validates our belief that systematic planning and execution are vital for a fulfilling experience.
The first step is to determine who needs support. To identify them, we enlist the help of teachers, local communities, and volunteers. We define cohorts of children with similar needs and backgrounds to give them focused attention.
We don’t buy ready-to-wear dresses. Instead, we engage tailors to create perfect-fitting clothes for each child. The material is carefully chosen for comfort and durability, while the design accommodates social and cultural sensitivities.
Accomplishments
Project Kapada has successfully enhanced the self-confidence of children & youth through fresh, durable garments.

Our Sponsors
The Udaan project helps students choose the best academic and career paths through assessments and personalized mentorship.
The Swasth program educates children on the importance of nutrition and personal hygiene in their formative years.
The Aavas program will help deserving youth find affordable accommodation at their place of study. The initiative eliminates a critical factor that deters students from pursuing higher education.
Upcoming INITIATIVES
Heartened by Kapada’s success, we have now set sights on other social causes that have a critical bearing on children & youth’s welfare. Every initiative is based on the same belief we started with: we can spark big changes by focusing on the small elements that can change lives.
